Take off to the church in Östra Vemmenhög. Park at the church, originating in the 12th century. Since then, it has been done if only the baptismal font remains. Goes east to the old bridge Herremannabron, which was built in 1850. It is a stone arch bridge with two arches built in cold wall technology, ie without mortar. Despite that, mortar is visible. The bridge was damaged by car traffic, the damage was repaired with mortar. The bridge was closed 1980. Here was first a wad, then a wooden bridge. Now there is no water at all under the bridge. The river has moved. You can go down and study the construction technique in detail. A later bridge is also without water. On this bridge you can park. The water flows under the latest bridge to the main road. The old stone bridge is the finest. Only pedestrians and cyclists are allowed to use it, although it is a dead end.

Just before the bridge stands a rune stone, the Östra Vemmenhög stone. It has one run line with the text: "Brother raised this stone after Bosse, his brother, (a) very good fighter." It is said to stand in its original place. A cold breeze winds over the landscape. The autumn characterizes the trees at the village. Going back to the car.
