Drive to Ottarp south of Vallåkra and Bälteberga. Having previously visited Bälteberga ravine to see the desert. Now it Ottarps turn. The gorge was a little awkward, This is easier. Park at the church.

Shortly after the railway west of the church is a pasture. A trail goes up on a hill. Here are desert deposits. For over 200 million years ago was the Skåne desert landscape. Just before the hill-top shows some rocks. Partially hidden by bushes. You can clearly and effortlessly see and feel the desert.

Going back to the car. In a pasture goes cows and bulls. A bull come menacingly closer. A threatening rumble from it. It shows and sounds "Do not come here." It seems to be able without difficulty to force the fence. Go over to the other side of the road. Bull calms down.
