Turns into the road to Hovdala castle. Turn right onto a dirt road that goes towards southern Finjasjön, the Gold Coast. It is a shortcut to Tree House (Trädhuset) past a dog trail and a small swimming area. Dirty dirt road up to the bathing area. Then even worse, the hill up to Dalleröd is lousy. Think the road is no longer maintained. Maybe the road will be even worse further on, so park the car in the open place at Dalleröd, opposite the barn.

Follows a path through the forest, a short distance, to the Tree House. It is located among the tree trunks overlooking Lake Finjasön. In the summer there is a café. Going up the stairs on the side. here is a terrace with chairs and tables for the cafe. Tree trunks protrude through the floor. In the house is a smaller conference room. It's the same since I was here in 2006. Want a Hovdala cake, but they haven't. On the other hand, have waffle with cream and jam. Sits nicely with views and sounds of thunder towards Lake Finjasjön. Small but constant stream of guests. Nice, pleasant and good.

Takes the long wooden ramp to the road and the true parking. Returns on the gravel road to "our" parking. The road looks good, better to drive it and then the real and paved road to Hovdala castle.

Can't resist a Hovdala cake in Fröknarnas cafe and honey in the store. Visit in the garden and orangery, then past a flower meadow to the parking lot.
