Drive to Gladsax and park by the church. Go to the Gladsax castle ruins behind the church. High with grass, so you can't see anything. We intended to follow the pilgrim's path to Impan, but the path is overgrown with tall grass. Don't want to go there considering shorts and ticks. Drive to the football field in Gröstorp and park. Here there is an entrance to Impan's nature reserve.

In the reserve is a 15 meter high fault cliff. It is part of the Tornquist Zone, which runs diagonally across Scania from northwest to southeast and is the result of collisions between continental plates that began approximately 400 million years ago. Minerals have been mined here since the 16th century, traces of the mining remain. Most of the reserve consists of pasture. We walk across the pasture, a thin layer of soil and exposed outcrops. A herd of cows looks on. It is dry, not much blooms. Finds some small Sticky catchfly. At the cliff a path goes down below the cliff. Passing a wetland. Can see a probable mine shaft. Also piles of stone from the quarry. Parts are closed off due to risk of landslip. Follow the path below the cliff. In the northern part a path goes up again. Up there we follow the edge. A lone cow follows us. In some places there is a view out over the fields to the west. Walk across the pasture back to the football field.

Drive into Simrishamn. Have a soft ice cream at café Kagan.
