We have hiked on the Gårdlösaleden trail to Listarumsåsen. Now we are on our way back to the parking lot near the highway to Simrishamn. Just before that we turn west from the trail over the fields up onto the Alnabjär hill. The cherry trees are in bloom. Head south towards a tree. Behind the tree are four stones, the remains of a stone ship. Stones are sheltered under trees. To the west there is a slope. The stone ship is dated to 550-800 AD. Just south of the stones are some stone settings from the Iron Age. The legend say it is that the ship stone was built over King Alne, hence the name Alnabjär. From the height you have a view of the landscape. Down in the valley a stream flows. We walk along the slope to and across the pasture to the parking lot and the car. Drive to Gladsax and eat beetroot pizza at Gustafs in Österlen.
