Garden café in Södra Rörum
with waffles a go-go, eat as many you want and can.

15 July 2012: Kalias road in Södra Rörum is a small dirt road. The garden café have quite a large car park. The toilet is a separate small house, inside it is spacious and nicely. The Café house is not large, the garden can accommodate the more. Waffles, cream, jam, and coffee/tea/lemonade stands inside the hall to the house. In a room waffles are made at a swift pace. The waffles are made on the eggs from local hens, jam usually homemade. The Café is an outdoor cafe, there is a smaller shelter for bad weather. Today microscopes are placed there. A company has taken water samples in the nearby creek, and now they sit and watch the wildlife in the water. Small crayfish children and other things that I do not know a thing about.

I sit down at a table, I enjoy delicious waffles. Waffle after waffle is done, more people are sitting down in the garden. Four waffles will I cope, I pay 60 kronor. One may eat as many as one want and is able to for that price.

The cafe is open seasonally on weekends, check the website for opening hours:

A previous visit I have described together with my hike on the trail circular walk in Fulltofta recreation area.
