Efterljus ("Afterlight") light installation, by Lund art and design school, 29 Nov 2009 - 10 Jan 2010.

12 Deceember 2009: I need som exercise after eating a small Christmas dinner in the restaurant boat Swea in Helsingborg. From the train I'm going to Bantorget. This year's lighting installation is called Efterljus ("Afterlight"), a play with light and shadows. The spruce on Bantorget in green lighting looks groomed out. Illuminated sails are stretched in the trees, with shadows on the ground. From a tree, comes an indefinable sound. There are light marks on the ground. I go to Västertull. On the path to Västertull are light marks on the ground in different colors of lights coming from the trees. The little square has also colors. A tree casts a long shadow. Ghost figures lights up in the lawn. The Trolleberg roundabout is decorated with cubes of different colors, they light up every now and then. They are said to be synchronized with the traffic, difficult to judge. In the chritsmas tree hangs reflectors that shine in the pale light from car headlights. Sometimes the tree is lit up. Could it not be a distraction and a danger to traffic? Walk to Clemenstorget where I have my bike, and bikes home. The Light Spruce on the roof of "Blocket" (= hospital) monitors everything.
