16 June 2012: HIF - Sillhövda 5-1 (1-1)

On paper an easy home game against the last team Sillhövda. Risk of underestimation. Preparing with a cup of tea at the local heritage park cafe. Moving on to Österås. No queuing at the ticket window. The man at the window is wondering if I should not have senior discount! Many years there yet. Sit down on the simple gallery. Three referees comes out, the first referee I've seen with mohikan haircut. The game begins. Ops, Sillhövda nods in the bar. Shortly after make HIF 1-0. Sillhövda stands up well, but a mediocre games. HIF's coach is concerned, Sillhövda's directs his players. Sillhövda player misses the ball, gets angry and kicks a water bottle that almost hits the linesman. He is warned. The audience follows the sleepy game. Ouch, high kick and nosebleeds. Probably the same who was warned recently, sent off. Ajajaj, with only ten players  make Sillhövda 1-1. Pause and sausage.

I have to go to the mens room even though the game begins again. On the way back makes HIF 2-1 on penalty. I miss that. Still sleepy game. Possibilties in more HIF goals. It should be unstable weather, someone has an umbrella with in the glorious beautiful weather. Spectators enjoy the weather instead of the game. Next-generation players learn not to underestimate inferior teams. In the end, it takes off, HIF makes three quick goals. My nerves calm down. Sillhövda get one more player sent off, for what I perceive not. Possibility of more goals, but Sillhövdas goalie is good. The end, 5-1 is approved but not the game. Two Hässleholm teams now top the series. Looks good. Celebrating with a Mariestads beer on a open-air cafe on first avenue.

We have an appointment with a female friend (who is uninterested in football) for dinner at hotel Statt, but fully booked. Have a steak at Casablanca instead.
