16/10 2010: HIF - Kalmar AIK 2-0

Take the train to Hässleholm. Goes past my childhood football field. In the beginning a field on a meadow woth goals of wood, then gravel with goals of steel, now a grass field. Not many childern seems to use it today. In my childhood it was a child neighborhood, where the series was played between quarter teams. Autumn announces its arrival with it's colors. Coffee and cake together with my relatives. Then I walk to a friend, and we drive to the Österås stadium, the match is played on the C-field. Surprisingly few is showing up. The second team in Hässleholm, IFK, play a degradation match on the main field. Ends 2-2 and they are degraded to division three. Many from the audience moves to C-field. Other sponge and stand outside the fence. Studying when Kalmar is warming up, gives nothing. 15:00 kickoff. CLANG! Pole shot from HIF. HIFs flag wave proudly on the stands. I have to move me away from the sideline, once for the linesman, and then for a long throw-in from HIF. HIF has a grip, seems stable. Beautiful header and GOAL! 1-0. Lovely. Halftime. Sausage and toilet visit. Place myself behind Kalmar's goal. Arrggh! So close to 2-0. HIF player on the way through, cut down. A lucid penalty! Moreover, the Kalmar player is deported. Safe penalty, 2-0. Nice. What happens? A second Kalmar played is deported. Must have been talking too much . With only nine players Kalmar has no chance. The match is played to the end. The end and happy HIF players. Next year division three and exciting derby against IFK. Something to look forward to.
